​SPOT have being protecting the logger head and green sea turtles of Northern Cyprus since the 1980s, turtle project volunteers today are still based at the goat shed in Alagadi and work is undertaken in conjunction with Marine Turtle Conservation Project (MTCP).

Volunteers are involved with night time monitoring of adult sea turtles, day time nest protection, excavation of nests and release of hatchlights and environmental education projects.
