VOICE 4 Girls teaches life skills and the power of gender equality through activity-based spoken English programming to adolescent girls. Currently operating in India, we carry out our mission through 4-week summer camps and co-ed yearlong English programs in schools.
The program provides girls in India with the practical tools and knowledge needed to overcome challenges they face. Through VOICE’s unique interactive curriculum, participants are exposed to topics such as body awareness, community safety, and career opportunities. Activity-based learning and open discussion provide a forum where girls can find their own voices and develop the confidence needed to succeed.
VOICE has been operational since 2011 and has reached over 1500 girls in 33 schools in Hyderabad and Uttarakhand. The program has seen over 50% increase in spoken and written English abilities as well as an improvement in confidence and knowledge about relevant education topics such as health, rights, and self-protection.
VOICE aims to reach thousands of girls across India and inspire the next generation of women to take their futures into their own hands.

VOICE is seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer in India who will lead our Social Media campaign;
Develop marketing collateral; and support grant writing, fundraising, and reporting.
VOICE aims to expand our online following, to engage individuals across the globe and drive people to donate through our website. This position would be responsible for managing our Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress blog, online newsletters, YouTube channel, Kick-starter fundraising events, and any other online efforts to share content and drive fundraising.
This individual would generate the majority of the content shared through these platforms, and manage collection of inputs from other team members as well. As VOICE begins to bring in private donations through online promotional efforts and fundraising events, protocols for stewardship and transparent communications to donors will be a key role of the Marketing & Communications Officer.
Social Media Management
o Managing overall social media strategy that supports our long term branding and outreach efforts; Posting daily content for Facebook and Twitter;
o Collecting blog stories, videos, and pictures from team to ensure regular content on VOICE blog, YouTube channel, and photo sharing sites;
o Developing Monthly newsletters for donors and other friends of VOICE that keep our stakeholders tuned in to new happenings at VOICE;
o Identify and lead efforts for online fundraising like Kick-starter campaigns and contests like 5 for Fairness.
o Develop various 2-pagers, brochures, presentations, and other collateral director towards key stakeholders;
o Ideally utilize videos and pictures taken from the field to produce short videos that can be shared through social media outlets;
o Format reports, documents, and letters to look uniform and professional.
Support grant writing, fundraising, and reporting:
o Help draft content for various grants, funder reports, annual reporting, and other content development needs;
o Support fundraising efforts, particularly related to outreach in India;
o Develop and lead VOICE stewardship efforts to provide transparent, accurate reporting to all donors on the impact of their funding and encouraging further support.

Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prefer 2+ years prior experience working with marketing and social media
Should be creative, self-motivated, and capable of managing a large set of tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
