Project Description
Africa Volunteers Placement (A.V.P) was formed in the year 2010 to provide support and services to communities and the less fortunate in the society as we provide for education and a platform for success to the orphaned, widowed and the less privileged in the society.
We seek the help of organizations, NGOs and concerned individuals through volunteering opportunities, internship programs, training and direct funding.
The projects are: Wildlife conservation, orphans program, teaching program, community development, medical internship, youth empowerment, turtle and marine conservation, forest conservation, HIV/AIDS program, scientific research, feeding program, microfinance and many more.

Project Summary
Volunteers carry out different activities according to the volunteer program of choice. Programs like medical placement require the volunteer to produce their medical certificate or produce a document showing that they are students.
Other projects depend on the distance of the project site. Once volunteers arrive they are taken through orientation process where they ask questions, told what time to arrive at the projects and the type of the accommodation they choose. Some may opt for home stays others renting apartments while some book hotels. Majority of the projects start at 9.30am to 3pm.
Volunteers pay 170 USD per week for humanitarian projects, and 250 USD a week for conservation projects. The cost covers project fee, accommodation and daily running of the office.
Humanitarian and conservation projects needs no qualifications apart from medical placement. We expect to have people who are passionate in their service to uplifting human dignity.
