Project Description
ASSOBOM aims to provide existing orphanages all over Cameroon with the capacity to better take care of orphans in their centres as well as strengthen orphans and to donate food, clothing, school furniture, medicine etc, according to the needs of each identified orphanage.
Volunteers through ASSOBOM will visit orphanages and orphans to help with the identification of their needs. Once the need identified, volunteers will help ASSOBOM build the capacity of orphanages and orphans by volunteering their time, skills and means to bring a difference in the selected orphanages.

Project Summary
Volunteers through ASSOBOM will visit orphanages and orphans to help with the identification of their needs. Once the need identified, volunteers will help ASSOBOM build the capacity of orphanages and orphans by volunteering their time, skills and means to bring a difference in the selected orphanages.
Volunteers will work about 30 hours per week. Volunteers can train orphans keepers and equip them through teaching, training programs. They can teach orphans and help with their health care and finically sponsor orphans towards their education.
There is no cost to participate, but volunteers must cover all their own living expenses, which can total $500 per month. They are free to make donations to ASSOBOM and orphanages they visit.
Adults of both sexes over 18. Volunteers with skills and knowledge are welcome, but you don’t need any special qualifications, training or experience to be a volunteer at our orphanage. The only thing you need is a good heart and a desire to help children that is living in poverty and speak English and/or French.
