Project Description
Baseline Foundation Africa started in 2016 and got registered as a community based organization in 2017 gathering key players of the music industry and other industries to support youths find their hidden talents and create platform, leaving a positive impact in disadvantaged communities and helping to raise awareness about local issues through music.
We started with only six members namely Mayen, David, Sharon, Julian (from German), John and Moreen. This team consisted of four boys and two girls. We composed a song about the spreading STD Aids titled "Life has no spare". This song led us to a very big audience who took interest in what we are doing. After that we were invited to perform on "My dream" - Festival in our hometown where we managed to get a number one award. In March 2016 we started recording our album with a guitarist from Germany (Julian) and our producer which was released last year.
Our interest is: inspire the younger generations through music, and connect disadvantaged areas and its talent with the world, raise awareness through music and artists gather people from different communities bridging gaps through music.
