Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation is a not-for-profit which helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand, through veterinary treatment, desexing and dog & cat sponsorships.
The main aims of organisation/charity/individual:
- Rabies vaccination of all dogs and cats.
- To reduce population by sterilizing (castration, spaying) all dogs and cats.
- To treat dogs suffering from mange by injecting them with Ivomec or by washing them with Amitraz.
- To deworm all dogs and cats.
- To treat all stray dogs and cats in the event of injury or sickness and provide them with a shelter.
- To educate locals at Koh Samui how to better take care of their animals
- Lobbying with hotels and local government to avoid poisoning

Project Summary
The type of work for volunteers is totally depends on the volunteer. Volunteer activities can range from cleaning, wound treatment, bathing dogs or deTicking animals and maybe even office work.
All depends on the attitude of the individual. Volunteers can work as much as they chose to.
There are no fees for our project, we cannot offer any payment for any volunteer work. We can only offer to help finding an accommodation once you are here. There is all kind of different types of housings and therefore the prices are very different. We always recommend pages like tripadvisor to help you find accommodation. We also provide some information on our homepage under Volunteers.
