Project Description
Global-Cultural Solution (GCS) is a vibrant, community development and progress-oriented organisation made up of young persons and dedicated volunteers working together for the development of rural communities.
GCS is a fully registered non-profit volunteer organization established in 2007 by resilient, team players and result-oriented personnel from Ghana to support a wide range of developmental projects in communities where it operates.
GCS seeks to help orphans (by supporting and creating permanent means of income-sustaining activities for the centres) and the less privileged in society. We also endeavour to help the socially marginalized people including children and women.
Most of the orphanages we support are poorly resourced, under staffed, and are facing lots of problems to run the home. GCS currently support different orphanages and children homes in part of Ghana considered the most deprived, specifically Volta and Eastern Regions. The orphanage needs extra pairs of hands to help with the day-to-day running of the project with works like cleaning, cooking and serving food to the children.
Our current operations are in Ghana, specifically in the Volta and Eastern Regions, where it supports projects and individuals throughout the communities but aims to extend our mission to other African countries as well as countries considered to be among the poorest in the world.
