Project Description

Prime Trust came into existence in 2002 and since then, it supports women for their empowerment and children for the integrated development. Prime Trust offers projects on Micro Credit, Awareness Generation Programs on HIV/AIDS, Nutrition, Health and Hygiene, Personal hygiene, Diabetes, Cancer, Women Rights, Child Rights, Environment etc. Prime Trust offers vocational skills such as Tailoring, Embroidery, Art work, making novelty items, mat weaving. For the children, we provide sponsorship program, Evening Schools, Children’s Parliament.

  • Project Summary

The volunteer will act as a Coordinator and work along with our regular staff members. The volunteers through their international exposure will guide our staff members to carry out the work in a professionally way. The volunteers will bring lot of innovative ideas and skill to the organisation. The volunteers are expected to take part in the decision making process also. The volunteers will work from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

The cost of volunteering is detailed below:
Guidance and Contribution: Rs.12, 000 one time donation (Around $220)
Accommodation: Rs.300 per day which includes separate room, bed, purified water, wifi internet and computers. (Around $6) Food is not included.
Transfer from local air port: Rs.2500 (Around $45)

The volunteers are expected to be more open, transparent and enthusiastic, hard working, motivated and adapting to new conditions. Can be less than 18 but the parents should offer their consent, Volunteers should speak English.
