Project Summary
Reach Out carries currently several social and developmental projects with the support of national and international volunteers. The organisation is now at a cross road where there is need to render itself sustainable and this cannot happen without strengthening the organisation’s systems such as fundraising and communications. Almost every voluntary or non-profit organization like Reach Out Cameroon requires money either to support its existing activities or to expand and improve it services. Fund raising has no option other than hard work.
As a not for profit making organisation, we have a causes and programmes that deserve support and we are willing to really work on them, so as to raise considerable awareness, goodwill and money through fundraising strategies. This is the reason why Reach Out Cameroon is seeking an outgoing and articulate volunteers to support the work of the of the organisation in promoting, developing, coordinating the Fundraising package of the NGO.
Volunteers should expect to work approximately 35 hours per week.
Reach Out operates a Volunteers Corridor which was established by other former international volunteers to help others coming who could find themselves in difficult situations. For this reason, volunteers are called to pay 300 Euros a month. This fee is for the following: Accommodation, feeding, electricity and water bills as well as housekeeping.
Volunteers are entitled to; breakfast, brunch and supper
Volunteers coming should speak English fluently, the minimum volunteer age is 18 years old.
