Project Description

The project, “Improving Livelihoods and Promoting  Good Health  with Moringa”  envisages    to promote  the   cultivation, processing and  consumption of  Moringa in  the  Hohoe  and Jasikan Districts of Ghana. The project  seeks to  enhance the quality of life of the people, create employment,  increase food production  and  reduce  malnutrition  and  raise  the general  standard  of living  in the communities.

The project seeks to establish a Moringa cottage for processing moringa into various products like leaf powder, oil and seed cake   for local consumption and export. The communities shall also be   enlightened   on scientifically supported discoveries about Moringa in order to harmonize traditional habits of using Moringa with new ways of maximizing derivable benefits from the Miracle tree- Moringa.

Project Aim: Shape Lives Foundation’s overall project aim  is to  use Moringa  to improve livelihoods and  create sustainable employment by stabilizing the cultivation, processing and consumption of  Moringa  as  a self  renewable  healthy food source  to improve the overall standards of living
