Project Description
SOTENI International mission is to reduce the incidence of AIDS by empowering vulnerable communities develop sustainable interventions. We cultivate local leadership, educate those most at risk, and identify best practices to share around the world.
We have many projects in different areas of Kenya. We work with the communities on these projects because we feel "it takes a village to prevent AIDS".

Project Summary
We work to match talents, gifts and skills with the current need in the Villages of Hope.
Our interns/volunteers work on a variety of projects from capacity building of the staff and community, to educating, to project development, to monitoring & evaluating, to carrying out needs assessments, etc.
We work very closely with our volunteers before and during their experience.
Our fees cover lodging, transportation (in Kenya), food, communication, and supervision and support. The fees are based on the length of volunteer experience. 6 week - $2675 (does not include international airfare) Please contact us for current fees.
