Project Description
SOVHEN is a university student founded registered voluntary nongovernmental and not for profit community based organization serving legally orphans and other vulnerable groin the hard to reach urban slum areas and in the rural areas of Uganda.
SOVHEN is a development organisation dedicated to alleviating poverty by empowering the poor. Our journey began in 1972 in the newly sovereign Bangladesh, and over the course of our evolution, we have been playing a role of recognising and tackling the many different realities of poverty.

Project Summary
Volunteers engage with the local community in production, thereby creating employment and an alternative income. Engaging individual entrepreneurs, organizations in private and civil sector to form a wide distribution network.
Monthly fee includes food and lodging-$350 (US Dollars): project development fund $400 and transportation $100
For short term roles, you will need at least three years' experience in your field and be available to depart within one year. Volunteers must be aged 18 years old and over.
