Project Description
We Yone Child Foundation-Sierra Leone (WYCF-SL) is a non -profit making charitable organization committed to the uplift of the oppressed, exploited and marginalized members of the society through economic, education and social development programs.
WYCF-SL believes that poverty stand in the way of individual and communities from discovering their full potential and worth given to them by God and from experiencing his love and grace in its fullness.
WYCF-SL especially focus on its attention on the oppressed, deprived and marginalized sections of the society living in slums, villages and small towns, including bonded labor, ostracized women and neglected children and Youths. It works towards their release from economic, social and spiritual shackles that enslave them.

Project Summary
Volunteers are accepted to carry out the following activities; fundraising (designing of proposal /grant for funding. Remote fundraising Volunteers are encouraged), conduct training for staff on project management and childcare, teaching, photography, art programs with kids, visiting both local and International NGOs for potential partnership.
Volunteers are accepted to spend about six (6) hours per day Monday to Friday. There will be flexibility in the hours volunteers spend per week due to emergency issues that may arise.
Approximate Total Cost per month (£):
Volunteer Fee + Transport (excl, to Kamakwie) + Food and Drink + Internet = 100 + 3 + 60 or 6 + 10 + 90 + 40 + 5 + 5 = 313 or 253.
Accommodation Hotel least cost: 7.20 * 30 = 216
Accommodation family: 30 * 3 = 90
+10% contingency plan
TOTAL:
With airport taxi & hotel & 10% = £581.4
With airport ferry & hotel & 10% = £ 515.4
With ferry & family & 10% = £376.8
Volunteers must have at least a Diploma certificate or equivalent. WYCF-SL will accept volunteers at the age of 18 years and above. Below 18 years mush have an approval letter from their parent(s).
